Q: 死後の世界は善い事をすると、上の世界に入れるのですか？
今回の翻訳チャレンジも、前回に続いて：

- 翻訳エンジンはグーグル翻訳
- 翻訳ツールは「Yarakuzen」
です。
水波霊魂学の基礎知識6：死後、上の世界に行く人、下の世界に行く人
まずは、原文をご紹介します：
Q1 死後の世界は善いことをすると、上の世界へ入れるのですか？
A１ 違います。
善悪は関係ありません。
この世と幽質の世界とでは仕組みが違います。
食べなくても良く、何でも手に入る世界では泥棒はいませんし、死なないので人殺しもありません。
念さえ出さなければ、困っている霊魂は一人もいません。
そんな世界では法律も要りませんし、奉仕も要りません。
医療も必要ありませんから、愛を叫ぶ霊魂すらいません。
つまり、下の世界は、倫理も道徳も何も通用しません。強い者が勝ち、それに従うしかありません。
上の世界は、善も悪もないのです。この世の人達が勝手に作った善悪の基準とは、何の関係もありません。
この世で何をしてきたとしても、幽質の世界では無関係です。
単にそれぞれの幽体が過ごしやすい場所に移動するだけです。
幽体とは、この世では肉体と重なっていた霊的な身体です。
続いて以下は、Yarakuzenで出力した翻訳提案文そのままです（要注意点は赤文字にしました）：
Q1 If the afterlife（１） does good things, will it enter the upper world?
A1 No.
Right and wrong do not matter.
The mechanism is different between this world and the spiritual world.

Yūtai is a spiritual body that overlaps with the physical body in this world.
これまでの作業で、頻繁に使われる霊魂学関連の単語をYarakuzenに登録してきましたので、
「幽質の世界」は、「Spiritual World」と訳され、「幽体」は、「Yūtai」と訳されました。
今回の注目点は、赤文字にした（１）～（５）の箇所ですが、これらは、「主語を省略する」という日本語の特質から来るものだと思います。英語では、通常の文章で主語が省略されることはあまりありません。
（１）の場合、原文だと、「善い事をすれば」というのは、「あなたは」、「私は」、「人々は」、といった主語が省略されていることを承知の上で意味を理解できますが、英語の場合は、何等かの主語が必要です。
翻訳データベースは、主語を「死後の世界」だとインプットしたようです。
「死後の世界さんは、善い事をすると、上の世界に入れるのですか？」という具合です。
翻訳ツールを利用する場合、訳文をチェックする時には、日本語の (省略された) 主語に関連した誤訳が起こりやすいと認識する必要があるようですね。
（１）the afterlife → この文の主語は、”We”、や ”People”に置き換えるといいかと思います。
（２）If you don’t remember → 主語は「霊魂」です。「霊魂が念さえ出さなければ」という訳文なので、”If no spirit shoots nen toward others,” など。
（３）I → I don’t の部分は、”None”, “Nobody”に置き換えてみるとわかりやすいと思います。
（４）has no choice but to obey it → 従わざるを得ないのは、その他の霊魂なので、”The rest has no choice but to obey it などにするとわかりやすいと思います。
（５）Simply move to → ここも、主語を足すと分かりやすくなるので、”Spirits” を入れて、Spirits simply move to にします。
修正後の訳文は以下の通りです。
Q1 If we do good things, will we enter the upper world?
A1 No.
Right and wrong do not matter.
The mechanism is different between this world and the spiritual world.
There are no thieves in the world where you don’t have to eat and you can get anything, and there is no murder because you don’t die.
If no spirit shoot nen toward others, no spirit is in trouble.

これは、第一ラウンドのチェックなので、この英文を読んでおおまかな意味を把握したあとで、原文を読み返して、筋が通っているかどうかをチェックします。その後、細かい調整をしていくことになります。
日本語でも英語でも同様ですが、文章の主語を、「あなたは」にするか「私達は」にするか、あるいは「人は」にするかで、読み手の受ける印象は変わります。原文・著者から発せられる雰囲気・ムードを如何にうまく伝えるかも、翻訳する上で大切なポイントだと思います。
